A Note From Pastor Rall
Epiphany is a Christian feast day that celebrates the visit of the Magi to the Christ child, and thus His physical manifestation to the Gentiles.  The date of Epiphany is January 6th, the 12th day after Christmas.  It appears from Matthew's account of the visit of the Magi that the baby Jesus could have been already a toddler.  He was dwelling in a house with His parents when the Magi visited Him, and Herod's attempt to kill this new king caused him to slaughter baby boys in the vicinity of Bethlehem who were two years old and younger, based upon when the Magi had first seen the star in the East.
The Christian Church commemorates the Baptism of Jesus on the first Sunday after the Epiphany, which this year falls on the very first day after Epiphany, so we remember both this Sunday.  Both of these events serve as revelations of the true nature of Jesus.  The Magi worship Jesus and present Him gifts that are befitting a king.  At the baptism of Jesus, the Father Himself pronounces Jesus as His Son and the Holy Spirit descends to dwell in Him ...continue reading

Book Drive- Mother's Day Out
We received a Thrivent Action Team grant aimed at upgrading our book collection for our Mother's Day Out program.  If your child received too many books or duplicates at Christmas, consider donating for our MDO.  We are looking specifically for Jesus books and those which share about Christian/Bible teachings.  MDO is part of our overall Christian Education ministry at Timothy, and that includes chapel attendance and books that interest and teach this age range.   Books should be new or in like-new condition, sturdy and appropriate for ages 4 and under.   Contact DCE Mark or Cheryl O'Neil for more information on books needed.  Thanks for your support!

Rummage Sale. Saturday, March 24th. "One Person's Junk is Another Person's Treasure."

Mission Trip to Gambia
Pastor Loum is going on a Medical Trip to Gambia in March, and is inviting interested members of the congregation to go along.  For more information please see Pastor Loum.

Gambia Mission
Some remote congregations in Gambia have been unable to hear the Word of God because the evangelists have been unable to travel to worship with them.  Support for this ministry would be $100.00/month.  If you should wish to help support this important ministry, mark your gift to Timothy with the word "Gambia".  Pastor John Loum.
STEWARDSHIP
Share Your Gifts-Egg Hunt Leadership Needed
Our annual Egg Hunt outreach is an important annual event for our children and young families.  It is a great opportunity for our church to serve our neighbors and be visible in our community.  We need a leader or team of leaders to help make this day special.  Please talk to DCE Mark Thompson if you are interested and/or have questions.  The date for EGG HUNT 2018 is March 24.
