Here's Erasto Walter's story of his graduation from Kibera Film School February 2013 . . .

My graduation day from Foundation in Filmmaking was one of my best days. My grandmother came to attend the occasion. This was a big honour.

The only challenge I had during my filmmaking training was the lack of enough hard drives. Otherwise this was the best class, for it is my passion.

It's in me that the world needs to know what African stories are and so I will be working towards achieving that.

For young East African filmmakers: Identify your talent and go for it. If its in film then Kibera Film School is the place to find and develop that. They offer the best no doubt.

And for Hot Sun Foundation: You are doing great work. If you ever think that it is too much for you to handle, then know one thing, the Kenya and world entertainment industry needs you more than you can imagine. Keep up with the good work though it may be hard to sustain the pressure.
