#GIVINGTUESDAY IS NOVEMBER 28

Giving Tuesday is a day celebrated globally to support the communities and causes we love. In the wake of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, it's an opportunity to give back.

This Giving Tuesday, November 28, we hope you will choose to support the Esplanade Association by becoming a member, renewing your membership , or making a  tax-deductible gift  to the Esplanade Association. Through your giving each year, EA invests over $1 million directly in the Park.

Have a question about your membership status? Please contact Abigail Fischer, Development Manager.

CARRY IN, CARRY OUT POLICY IN EFFECT
Under current Department of Conservation (DCR) staffing levels, the DCR has shifted to a Carry In/Carry Out policy throughout the Esplanade. Please respect this when enjoying the Park by taking out anything you bring in. Bathrooms will also be predominantly closed throughout the remaining fall and winter seasons.

If you are concerned about this change, we encourage you to reach out to DCR's community relations line at  ( 617) 626-4973 or to email them at mass.parks@state.ma.us. You can also contact your state legislators to advocate for higher funding for DCR in future budget cycles.
HORTICULTURE HAPPENINGS
Did you know that cool weather is the best time to plant flower bulbs for vibrant flowers? Since the temperatures have dropped, EA volunteers and the Horticulture crew (Renee and Eric) have worked tirelessly, averaging 8,000 bulbs a week, to plant bulbs throughout the Park. Variations include Daffodils, Tulips, Alliums, Muscari, Galanthus, and Crocus. Look out for more stunning blooms next spring!
