A MAGICAL EVENING IN THE PARK
Saturday, September 23rd was a beautiful evening filled with friends and neighbors who joined together to support the Esplanade at the annual Moondance Gala. This year, 450
guests joined us, raising more than $980,000
to maintain and improve the Esplanade.

DIRECTIONAL SIGNAGE COMING
The Esplanade's current signage is widely varied in design and does not make it easy for visitors to enjoy all that the Park has to offer.
The Esplanade Association is working with Halvorson Design to create a series of signs which will provide clear and consistent directional information, have a uniform look, and be placed at key areas throughout the Park. Sign installation is expected to begin in November 2017.

Spend a few minutes on the Esplanade during rush hour, or on a beautiful fall weekend, and you'll see hundreds of people out running, biking, rollerblading, strolling, and more. On these busy days, it's important that all Park users feel welcome and safe.
Here are a few ways you can make the pathways safer every day:
Walk your bikes over the footbridges.
2. When exiting footbridges, make sure to look in all directions before making your turn or continuing straight.
3. If traveling at high speeds (running or biking), stick to pathways closer to Storrow Drive.
4. If traveling at low speeds (walking), stick to the pathways closer to the Charles River.
Thank you for your courtesy and cooperation!
