Message from the Rabbi
Parshat Behar-Bechukotai
I am really excited.

We have had a wonderful string of continuous Smachot in the Shul since Pesach ended.  Our Shul has been a place of such joy over the last few weeks, and we are, Baruch Hashem, still going strong.

If that were not enough, I will have the privilege of spending a few days this coming week in Jerusalem.  While every trip to Israel is special, this one in particular will have a unique significance.  I will be able to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Yom Yerushalayim in Jerusalem!   It has been a while since I was in Israel for this special day.
We all must appreciate the centrality of Yerushalayim Ir HaKodesh in our personal and communal lives.  We speak of her constantly in our Tefillot and we yearn for Jerusalem at every Simcha.  We dance and sing to the words "Leshana Haba'ah Beerushalayim."

I feel like this year, it is a dream come true.

I cannot wait to report back next Shabbat on what I am sure will be a most eventful week ahead.

Shabbat Shalom
Pirkei Avot is Back!

Now that Shabbat afternoons are longer, come join us for our very popular series on
Pirkei Avot.

Each Shabbat afternoon from now until the early summer, we will meet at different homes in the community for enlightening                                  study and discussion.

This Shabbat we will hold the shiur at the home of Maggie and Cliff Newman at 6:30pm

*If you would like to host a class, please let Rabbi Klibanoff know soon, as spots are filling up!
