Quick Summer Thought from the Rabbi
Parshat Pinchas
Pinchas is known for his zealotry.  He acted instinctively when he saw a horrible thing taking place.  The  Torah rewards him and his descendants for all generations as a result.
When is it commendable to be a zealot and when is it considered over the line?  There is no simple answer, but it certainly is a question we should ponder.

Etz Chaim Sisterhood  Summer Trip

Join us at the NY Botanical Gardens, featuring a breathtaking exhibit by world-renowned artist  Dale Chihuly

Tuesday, August 8th

Due to unforeseen circumstances
(the museum in Philly will be closed on the date we had planned for), we have had to switch our summer trip destination.

We would like to walk with a docent for a portion of our time in the Gardens but we need a minimum of 15 people and we need to commit three weeks ahead, which means next Tuesday, July 18.

Please let us know by THIS Friday, July 14, if you will be joining us.

RSVP to Barbara Berger at bberger227@aol.com

Cost $40 - includes lunch.

We will arrange carpools to get there.
Feel free to invite your friends!
