Happy Thanksgiving

Housing inventory is dropping sharply in some of Florida’s major cities. Inventory is also declining in Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach area by 22%. At the same time, housing demand is rising across the state, partly due to job gains and other economic improvements.

Important change of Polyiso insulation R-Values

The R-value (or R-factor) is a measure of a material’s resistance to heat loss. The change will go in effect January 1st 2014. The existing R-value per inch of insulation will be reduced; meaning using the same thickness of existing insulation may not be compliant. It may impact the cost and the amount of materials used to achieve the required thermal resistance.

In 1621, Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared a harvest feast, acknowledged as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations.
