Evensong for Lent
Saturday, March 18
|
At the 10:30 am service we hear the story of the Samaritan woman at the well
. Our seminarian Christopher Simon will preach on what this story teaches us about the importance of knowing and being known by each other.
Barbara Layne will be giving the reflection at the Celtic Service at 5:00 pm. Our prayers and meditative words and songs will reflect the story of the woman at the well.
Please join us wherever you are in your search for meaning.

Bookkeeper:
Grace Church's Finance Committee is looking for someone familiar with Quickbooks to assist with our bookkeeping. It usually takes about 2 hours per week to input the information and cut a few checks. Our bookkeeping is fairly simple. Please consider this volunteer opportunity and contact either our treasurer, Jesse Angeley at [email protected] or our finance chair, Jonathan Davis at [email protected].
Snow Removal:
Karen and Tom Tucker have been doing a remarkable job with snow removal these many years, but are requiring help for the future. If you would consider being put on a list of people to called during a storm, please contact Tom Tucker directly at 781-654-7170.

Welcome to our Seminarian,
Christopher Simon
|
We extend a formal welcome to our ministry intern, Christopher Simon. Chris will be serving us throughout 2017 as part of his program at Boston University School of Theology, where he is pursuing both Masters of Theology and Masters of Sacred Music degrees.
Before coming to Boston, Chris graduated from Kenyon College with a Bachelors of Arts in Music, focusing in conducting and composition. He served a year in the Lutheran Volunteer Corps in Wilmington, Delaware, before taking part in a year-long, country-wide documentary project called Bus 52. In addition to camera work and writing entries for the project's blog, Chris composed original music for each of the 100 videos focused on people and small groups finding creative ways to improve their local communities.
In addition to his position at Grace, Chris also serves as the Assistant Director of the Boston University Seminary Singers.
We are quite excited to have Chris with us this year!
