Beardslee Public House Supports Bothell Cougar Football Club

Chef John Howie presented a check to the Bothell Cougar Football Club for nearly $800. This donation was part of Beardslee Public House's one-year anniversary celebration and will help the organization host various off-field activities for Bothell High School football, such as community service projects, team camps & weekly team meals.
Beardslee Public House, located in The Village at Beardslee Crossing is a proud supporter of the Bothell community. Following the downtown Bothell fire in July, Beardslee hosted a fundraiser that resulted in a $3,000 donation to the Kozy Corner Café's effort to rebuild. In the fall of last year, to celebrate its grand opening, Beardslee donated $5,760 to scholarship funds at UW Bothell and Cascadia College.
Chef John Howie and his restaurants are as recognized for philanthropic generosity as they are for culinary achievements. Since 2002, the John Howie Restaurant Group has received numerous awards for philanthropy and community involvement, and has given more than $4.5 million to hundreds of charitable organizations.

Bothell Youth Court Needs Your Food Donations For Students
Monday Nights Through June 2017

Bothell Youth Court Logo
Please consider donating a meal for up to 20 students at The Bothell Youth Court through the coming school year for which they would like to have food available for the students.

Students come to Youth Court as an extra activity after school and spend the evening there, often not leaving until 8pm to head for home. This is a long time for teens to go without food!  Dinners are needed for Monday nights throughout the school year from now until the end of June 2017.

In partnership with the Municipal Court of Bothell, University of Washington Bothell and the Northshore School District, the Bothell Youth Court works towards empowering local youth to adjudicate real cases of traffic violations committed by their peers. Meeting once a month, Bothell Youth Court is presided over by a youth judge, witnessed by an all-youth jury, and cases are presented by youth attorneys. The court has heard over 50 cases and continues to work towards its goal of a safer community.  Thanks for whatever help you are able to give in shining a light on this need.
