Do you think you might be called to be a Lay Eucharistic Visitor?

LEV training Nov 9, 6-9 p.m.

Lay Eucharistic Visitors (LEVs) take communion to those who cannot attend worship. If you believe you might be called to this ministry, discuss it with your clergy person.

LEVs are licensed by the bishop. Licensing requires an application signed by your priest and attendance at a diocesan training session. The next training session is on Nov. 9 at St. Martin's in Providence, from 6 to 9 p.m. Learn more about the ministry of a LEV and download the application here, and submit the completed application prior to attending the training.

Make your pledge campaign easy
by using templates from TENS

The diocese has a membership with The Episcopal Network for Stewardship (TENS), which has a ton of resources. Each year TENS produces themed stewardship campaign materials, including bulletin inserts, letters in Word that you can edit to fit your situation, pledge cards, and a card giving a chart to help you determine what your percentage of income you are giving. These templates are attractive (including a theme photo) and easy to use.

This year's set of resources can be found hereThe login username for all Rhode Island parishes is "generous", the password is "journey".

TENS also has worship resources, and materials on capital campaigns, personal financial planning, planned giving, environmental stewardship and more. If you haven't visited recently, check out the resources on the TENS website.

Ring the Bells for Bicentennial of  St. Paul's, Pawtucket
Celebration and Silent Auction
Saturday, Oct. 15  5-9 p.m.

St. Paul's Pawtucket warmly invites you to an elegant evening of music, food, drinks (cash bar), entertainment, silent auction, and raffle to benefit the restoration of our 10-bell carillon. Upgrades are underway and all proceeds from this event will go to completing work on the carillon so that the church bells can once again ring out God's love across the land of Pawtucket. We are told that Samuel Slater himself is planning to come, and we would love to see you also! Learn more and buy tickets to join the celebration.
Learn how to write (paint) an Icon

Saturday, October 22--10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Clergy Day with Bishop Knisely

Clergy Day will begin at  9am  and end at  1pm . Lunch will be provided. To RSVP, please register here For questions about this event, contact Ruth Moulton  [email protected] .
