New Events Contest Winner:
Spring Forward Fest
The Downtown Improvement District announced the winner of this year's New Events Contest, which invited businesses, organizations, and individuals to submit their best ideas for a chance to receive significant production support for new events in February, March, or April 2019. The Downtown Improvement District is pleased to announce that Spring Forward Fest is the winner of this year's contest.
Enjoy the 2018 Taste of the Arts festival to get a taste of Fort Wayne art, culture, food, drinks and more! The festival takes place on Friday, August 24 and Saturday, August 25!
Music is provided each week and everyone is encouraged to support local business during the lunch hour. This is a free family-friendly event that is open to all ages. Join us on August 16!
The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership recently announced a new project to develop a strategic brand for the 11-county region to target and attract new residents and talent and is seeking community input as part of the process.

On Friday, August 10 at 9:30 p.m., enjoy a variety of telescopes run by knowledgeable Fort Wayne Astronomical Society volunteers who will give you a closer look at the night sky. This program is free and open to all ages. With a playground and free parking nearby, this is a program for everyone!
