From the Executive Minister ExecMin

Word is getting around that late last year I formerly announced my plans to retire in September of this year.  Unfortunately, not all the information has been communicated as indicated from calls and cards I have received in the past few months.  Therefore, I thought it best that everyone hears the full and complete story through this newsletter from me directly.
While I have made note of my plans in past Delegates Meeting reports, I did not pin down the specifics until October 2017 when I notified that board that I would be concluding my 16-year ministry with the region on September 30, 2018.  Read more.

Our Church Story churchstory

Hilton Baptist Church

The Hilton Baptist Church grew from a small nucleus of faithful early settlers living around the Parma/Clarkson countryside. To this original assembly of 18 settlers in 1809, God would call to ministry Rev. Hannibal, a simple circuit rider in 1831. Rev. Hannibal's dream of a better land for ourselves and our children would be echoed in  Forward Through the Ages. Guided by its spirit-led pastors through several name changes, location changes and union of the First Baptist and Freewill Baptist congregations, our present-day Hilton Church emerged.

Since 2015, Pastor Daniel C. Brown has led the congregation in innovative and exciting ways, bringing new ideas and challenges to the congregation for more meaningful and personal worship.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year from the Hickey Center

The new year is a time to consider how we can buid bridges, mend fences, and move together as one humanity to create a peaceful atmosphere for all who inhabit this world. This can happen through dialogue and reaching out to those who may be considered "the Other" and to love not hate. Read more.
