September 25th: Maritime Magic

On Friday, September 25, Living Classrooms will host the 29th annual Maritime Magic presented by OneMain Financial. The best annual benefit on the Baltimore waterfront, Maritime Magic is sure to be a great time, with over 80 of Baltimore's best restaurants, the legendary Maceo Parker (the backbone of James Brown's band for nearly two decades) and his Funk Orchestra, and a great crowd and ambiance. Maritime Magic is a benefit in support of the innovative hands-on education and job-training programs provided by Living Classrooms Foundation.

October 16th: Night at the Yards

Maryland Championship Chili Cook Off

 

 

On Saturday, July 18th, Living Classrooms is hosting the Maryland State Chili Championship at the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park. Tickets are $10. Beer, soda, and non-chili food items will be available for purchase. Guests have the opportunity to taste competition chili and vote for their favorite. Volunteer for free admission, a drink ticket (21+) and some event swag. Various shifts are available starting at 7:00 a.m. and going until 5:00 p.m. Volunteer roles include helping at registration, assisting chili cooks and judges, selling raffle tickets, and more.
