Coming Together to Remember
Community Gathers to Celebrate the Lives of David Hodgin and Al Rogers
During the 39th Annual Northwest Junior Jamboree in March, family, friends and fellow officials gathered to celebrate the impact two men had on the game of volleyball in Central and Eastern Washington. The evening was an informal dinner gathering that allowed attendees to catch up and share memories of David and Al.
"The two men had a passion for volleyball - a passion for a sport and the people it drew until their last day."
AND THE WINNER IS...

For the 2017 Evergreen Regional Volleyball Championships, we offered YOU,  our members, the chance to design the logo that would be featured on ALL event promotions and memorabilia. We're excited to announce that Stan Eichwald , parent of U16 Team Yakima Gold player, created the winning design!
Wait, There's More?!

The runner-up design was also selected to be  used exclusively on event apparel. Congratulations to Monica Rodriguez! We can't wait to rep gear with your cool, retro look.

Thank you to everyone that participated in this year's Logo Design Contest!

Doris Norris | Club Director
Sideout Volleyball Club

"Even though her kids are now grown, Doris continues to honor the volleyball community with integrity and advocacy for the players. I believe it takes a person drawn to serve to be able to effectively run a volleyball club in such an honorable fashion, and Doris is surely that person."
Justis Wells | U16 Player

"Justis is a model of both a competitor and a sportsman, not taking herself too seriously, but still pushing herself to improve. She relishes in the achievements of her teammates and acts as their biggest supporter. Justis is a classy, talented, supportive teammate in both wins and losses - simply a credit to the sport."

INTRODUCING MOTOR MVB
MotorMVB expands education opportunities at colleges and universities so student-athletes can receive scholarships, compete on the court, get a college education, and grow as leaders.

"Volleyball people tend to be good people.  Competitive volleyball players seem to develop into productive citizens, leaders and mentors.  And the United States of America needs more leaders and more mentors. Ultimately, nothing is more important than nurturing the spirit and values of the young people of this country."

BOARD BIOS
KEVIN TWOHIG | ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER
