I AWAKENED (PTL for AWAKENING again!) with an old and ODD jingle in my head!!??
I remembered most of it and was determined to Google it upon rising, BUT it finally popped in my head.
The old and ODD jingle was predetermined by a post my lovely granddaughter recently posted:

It is 7:15 Am and thanks to a young man, MK, I just sent a check of MERCY to a beloved friend and fellow laborer for Christ BECAUSE God told me to do so.
I ONLY give WHEN God instructs me and to whom!!!!

Now the JINGLE is in my head!
I have been asked several times this week "if I was gonna watch the SUPERBOWL?"
In fact, my beloved son invited me to a SUPERBOWL PARTY yesterday, which sadly I am not able to attend.
The answer is NO-I have little to none interest in watching THE game.
My reason-DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!
I am sorely disappointed in my local and favorite sports teams and grew increasingly disgusted with their efforts and the conduct of the players for several years now.
I am sick and tired of being let down by things I have NO control over-AMEN!!??
And it is not just sports I am sick and tired of!!!
Politics, politicians, political parties, name brand corporations, people, ministries-the list is endless!!!
It seems like TOO many play, preach, work, perform NOT for the love of doing so AND for the Glory of God!
MONEY, POWER, FAME IS THE GAME!!!
Now we can place these Scripture in their prpoer context:

2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
EVERYTHING we, as individuals SHOULD do is
"FOR AN AUDIENCE OF ONE!!"
That ONE being the Lord Jesus Christ!!
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
This ONE Scripture SHOULD be EVERYONE'S guiding principle and shining light!!
Psalm 42:5 (KJV)
5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
Psalm 38:15 (KJV)
15 For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.
IN God there is and never will be ANY disappointment!!!!
