The Dorset Playhouse Set of "The Hound of the Baskervilles" 

It was an elegant evening out at the Dorset Playhouse with friends – The Hound of the Baskervilles was on-stage! An interesting adaptation of the Sherlock Holmes classic that kept us spellbound for just over two hours!

 

We’re back again in two weeks to see The Legend of Georgia McBride.

After such a delightful experience at the Dorset Playhouse, we headed to the Weston Playhouse last Friday to see Lost in Yonkers, a Neil Simon comedy with lots of family drama – winner of a Pulitzer and four Tony Awards. It’s so wonderful to get this theater quality here in Vermont.

And the winner is famed Equestrian... Jimmy Torano!

Kay and I were fortunate to attend Calcutta 2017 the previous Saturday with several friends – sponsored by Southern Vermont Health Care Foundation. It was a splendid day of competition at Vermont’s premier show viewed from under the Grand Prix tent. All proceeds benefit the Foundation.
