Welcome to Langtons International Agency  Newsletter!
 
Langtons International Agency is one of New York's most successful boutique literary agency specializing in non-fiction: including memoir, true crime, biography, dogs , and business , exceptionally well written literary and commercial fiction: including mystery, thrillers, and young adult. We have recently added film scripts to our offerings as well. 

To date, Langtons International Agency has sold one book per month in 2016.

Linda had the pleasure of attending the first staged reading of her client Jason Huza's new musical, It Happened In Key West , featuring a cast including Courtney Reed from  Aladdin  as well as stars from other hit Broadway shows, and directed by Jeff Whiting. We are currently in the process of selling Jason's latest book Emma and Adam, a heartfelt story about one man's journey to find peace after losing his wife and child.

Glover Wright To Publish with Fiery Seas Publishing

Our multi-talented client Geoffrey Glover Wright's latest thriller will be published by Fiery Seas Publishing! Glover Wright is the author of eight published novels. He is also an accomplished musician and guitarist, and notably played with the Beatles and Jerry Lee Lewis in the sixties. His latest book, Hard Act, is a political and military thriller set in Europe and the Middle East and deals with the fallout of Seal Team Six's takedown of Osama bin Laden. Glover Wright has been described as "in the front rank of thriller writers" by bestselling author Jack Higgins. Hard Act will be available from Fiery Seas in early 2017. 

Trumbo Now Available in Japanese

Trumbo (Grand Central Publishing, September 2015) has just been published in Japanese. The novel that inspired the major motion picture is the biography of the Oscar-winning screenwriter Dalton Trumbo , who broke the Hollywood blacklist.  Its author, prolific writer and journalist Bruce Cook  (1932-2003), wrote 23 books, both fiction and nonfiction, in his lifetime.

Betrothed Nominated For Film Festival Awards

Betrothed, the first feature film by our talented client Jeff Rosenberg, has been selected to screen at the FANtastic Horror Film Festival.  Jeff's screenplay, about a woman who is kidnapped and forcibly engaged to a deranged family's youngest son, has been nominated for best original story/script, and the movie has also been nominated for five other awards. A Warm Welcome to Our New Authors!
 
Unni Turrettini, author of Price of Peace 


We are thrilled to welcome published author Unni Turrettini to the Agency. Unni is a lawyer and public speaker whose multicultural upbringing in Norway, the US, and France has influenced her writing. Her book Price of Peace: The Other Side of the Nobel Medal is a riveting and revealing look at the history of Alfred Nobel's Peace Price and the way the Nobel committee has diverged from Nobel's mission.  Her first book, The Mystery of the Lone Wolf Killer: Anders Behring Breivik and the Threat of Terror in Plain Sight, was published by Pegasus Books in 2015.  Welcome, Unni!

We are delighted to welcome Rosemarie Aquilina to the Agency ! Rosemarie is a Circuit Court judge in Lansing, Michigan, as well as a professor of law and a retired National Guard JAG Officer. Her thriller Triple Cross Killer follows a team of oddball investigators trying to stop a serial killer who chooses his child victims based on stolen letters to Santa Claus.  Welcome, Rosemarie!

We are excited to welcome Dr.  Stephanie Koempel  to the Agency! Stephanie is a licensed professional counselor and consults on the topic of grief relating to pet loss. Her inspirational book Somewhere Over the Rainbow Bridge: When Pets Love and Leave Us offers readers a guide by example to help pet owners deal with the emotional wounds that arise from the death of a beloved companion animal.  Welcome, Stephanie!
