We, the HSRM Executive and National Service Committees, have very recently made strategic changes in our HSRM primary leadership structure, adding new positions that enable us to expand our vision and ability to more effectively fulfill our mi ssion

We're excited to introduce to you our new top-two HSRM administrative leaders :

Ed and Norelle went to San Diego for administrative training from Clay. The baton for administrative leadership has now been passed! Clay and John Piippo are now  Nat'l Co-Directors.

Norelle Lutke has served as the Vice Chairman of the Holy Spirit Renewal Ministries since 2007 after having served on the National Service Committee for a number of years. As coordinator for the Holy Spirit Conference hosted annually by HSRM at Green Lake Conference Center, and previously as a regional conference coordinator, her passion has been to facilitate others in experiencing the reality and power of the Holy Spirit to live spiritually dynamic, transformed lives in Jesus Christ. She has served in multiple ministry roles alongside her pastor/evangelist husband Wayne Lutke since 1978. She is ordained and her ministry has included many years as a worship leader, involvement in youth work, international students' ministry, jail ministry, teaching and speaking... Introducing Rev. Ed Owens:

Ed Owens is the long-time pastor of the Olivet Baptist Church of Lansing MI. He is also the husband of Sherry. They have been blessed with four children and 5 grandsons. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity.
A close personal friend of Dr. Michael Williams, Executive Minister of the American Baptist Churches of Michigan, Ed has worked closely with him, and has held various denominational offices, recently completing his service as President of the American Baptist Churches of Michigan. Ed's ministry has also included 17 years as the coordinating chaplain for the Lansing Police Department. He has served on the National Service Committee and the Executive Committee of the Holy Spirit Renewal Ministries and was recently elected as the HSRM National Chair. As Co-Directors, Clayton and John, both serving in a volunteer capacity, will be the public face and primary ambassadors for Holy Spirit Renewal Ministries. Norelle Lutke as Asst. Director becomes paid Staff beginning September 1. Norelle will partner with new HSRM Chair Ed Owens as the administrative hub of HSRM. We believe that this new structure with increased primary leadership positions will enable our ministry to expand more quickly and effectively.

As we look at the landscape of renewal movements being attributed to the Holy Spirit these days, we see an enormous variety of expressions. Where do we, Holy Spirit Renewal Ministries, find ourselves in this vast array? Here are some of our distinctives:
1. Our purpose is to do all we can, in cooperating with the Holy Spirit, to empower, build up and unite Christ's body. Because of that, we do not feel comfortable with teachings that cause division between Christians, whether by creating a "haves-vs.-have-nots" mentality on the one hand, or by denying the validity of the full biblically-supported range of Holy Spirit ministries on the other....  ( CLICK HERE for the rest of this article.)
