Dedicated to.....
The beauty of flowers is part of our worship experience.  The flowers are dedicated to the Glory of God. If you would like to add a personal dedication you may donate flowers on a chosen Sunday and have your dedication printed in the bulletin.  The sign-up sheet is in the parish hall. Simply write your name on the chart for the day you want your dedication, then fill out a dedication card (in the pocket on the chart) and return that to Kathryn in the office.  A $50 donation is suggested.
Book Drive
Calling all who enjoy reading!  Our annual Book Drive for La Luz and MacArthur Elementary Schools is just around the corner.  Last years hope of the school was to send each student home with a book of their own for summer reading.  The SMAA Community was so generous it became reality and gave some students their "First" book.  With the Schools we have the same hope this year.  We will be on the patio April 17th between all am services and Live at Five to collect donations of any new and lovingly used books in English, Spanish or both.  Thank you for all the support in this community ministry with our Neighbors. Hope to see you on the Patio. Information or questions contact Kathy Poorbaugh 884-3723.
High Scorers
St. Michael's seniors meet once a month for the regular High Scorers pot luck lunch in the church hall. The next High Scorers lunch will be on April 14, the second Thursday in the month as always.  Everyone is welcome.  We gather at 12 p.m. - noon, and we look forward to seeing you.
In Loving Memory
We invite your attendance at a memorial service for William Lamport, the son of St. Michael's member Dick Lamport, on Saturday, April 16 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception. Will died unexpectedly earlier this year. We pray for Dick to be filled with God's peace and comfort during this difficult time. May the family feel love and celebration of Will's life, and may light perpetual shine upon his soul.
Rest in Peace
By now many of you have heard of the death of long time parishioner, Suli Prouty. We do not have the details or cause of death. She was found at home by a friend and taken to a hospital where she died some hours later, so she was not alone at the end. May light perpetual shine upon her and may her soul rejoice in the glory of God. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Michael's on Thursday, April 21 at 9:30 am.  A reception will follow.
Spring Party
A Celebration of Our Abundance! A Parish Party for you and your family, to join with other parish members to 'shake a leg' to the music of Emerson and Entourage Jazz, whose CD has been nominated for 4 New Mexico Music Awards!
Entourage Jazz will play from 6-8pm then Emerson will DJ tunes 'til 10pm. Please send dance requests to [email protected].

Restaurant Gift Card Drive for Davis Family
I have been asked by parents at the Day School about the best way to support the Davis Family as they go through this terrible time.  The family at this time is in need of meals.  Instead of setting up a meal schedule, I thought that giving them gift cards to restaurants such as Dions, Panera, etc. would be helpful.  This way they could use them to pick up meals when they needed them.  If anyone would like to do this, you may put them in my box in the Foyer of the Day School or leave them at the Church Office and I will make sure they get them.  I am sure that they would also love a note of encouragement with them.  Please continue to keep them in your prayers.

Casa San Miguel
At the moment, we are well-supplied with food in the pantry, but we can always use toiletries.  Almost everyone who comes to the pantry asks for soap, shampoo, and deodorant.  Also, toothpaste and tooth brushes; and, some ask for diapers (size 4 is best) and toilet paper.  Thank you for helping
