Dear Friend,

Spring has returned once again to New England, and we rejoice in the warm sun, blooming flowers, and bird song right outside our windows. As we welcome fresh new beginnings, it is an auspicious time to announce that on May 14, 2014, Lynn Whittemore will be joining the Cambridge Insight Meditation Center as our new Executive Director. We hope you will join us in welcoming Lynn with open arms and an open heart.

Some of you may be familiar with Lynn as she has been part of the CIMC community for six years, practicing alongside yogis, and giving of her time and efforts as a volunteer. Lynn brings singular qualities and a wealth of professional and spiritual experience to her new role at CIMC. First, she is a seasoned practitioner who is committed to the dharma and to our larger mission. Her creativity, her management skills and experience, and her ability to build relationships will bring renewed energy to the Center. Most importantly, Lynn has the qualities of heart that will be invaluable as she helps guide CIMC into its future.

We are grateful to you for your patience and encouragement throughout this past year, and we hope that you will continue to be involved in the coming months. As Lynn takes up the leadership of CIMC, she will not only need a warm welcome but also our continued support. After all, Cambridge Insight Meditation Center is more than its Executive Director, administrative staff, teachers and Board of Directors. At its foundation, our sangha is built on the generosity and engagement of all of 

you -- its yogis. 

In the coming weeks and days, please feel free to introduce yourself, and to say hello to Lynn. We hope you continue to partake of all that is offered this Spring at CIMC, as we practice and build our future together.
