Have You Submitted Your WiFi Plan to IFEMA?
No Private Wi-Fi Systems Allowed in Exhibit Hall or IFEMA meeting rooms

In an effort to continually improve WiFi access, World ATM Congress and IFEMA will once again implement the following policies at the 2016 WATM Congress:
  • Private WiFi WILL NOT be allowed at the World ATM Congress
  • The Exhibit Hall and IFEMA meeting rooms at World ATM Congress will be monitored for any non-authorized WiFi signal.
All Exhibitors planning on using WiFi in their stands or meeting rooms MUST submit their plans to IFEMA for approval in advance. Should an unauthorized private WiFi setup be detected, its operators will be required to shut it down, or when possible, change to an alternate channel/frequency.

In order to have your WiFi authorized, you must complete and submit the Authorization Request for WiFi Installations, which is linked here. The form can also be found in the Online Exhibitor Manual in the Exhibitor Zone under Compulsory Forms, Form #10.

Complimentary Wi-Fi Hot Spots for Visitors

IFEMA has created Visitor Hot Spots where World ATM Congress attendees can connect to WiFi for free, for up to 30 minutes every three hours. Once the 30 minutes are complete, users cannot reconnect for another 3 hours. Visitor WiFi Hot Spots are located at:
  • South Entrance Ground Floor Lobby
  • North Entrance Ground Floor Lobby (Registration area)
  • Meeting Point (located on La Avenida between Halls 8 - 10)
  • IFEMA Business Centre (expanded 12-hour sign-on availability with Centre fee)
WiFi may also be purchased for €10 (includes VAT) for two hours of consecutive hi-speed wireless Internet access starting from your first connection. Cards can be purchased at the Cloak Room. Should you need information or have questions, contact the IFEMA Telecommunications Department.
