There's just so much going on, and we're told no one likes to scroll anymore, so we're trying to increase efficiency here. But we simply must mention the WARREN COUNTY FARMERS' FAIR right up front because it's upon us next week already! The Ole Town Festival is a summer tradition in the Town of Phillipsburg and has become an event that simply cannot be missed! This year the organizers promise to bring many new events and activities for men, women, and children of all ages, including its first Car Cruise.
There will be plenty of live music to enjoy throughout the weekend, as well as a hot dog eating contest, lots of vendors, and softball games played by area fire department and emergency services squads to benefit local nonprofits.

at Well-Sweep Herb Farm
Well-Sweep's 26th annual Midsummer Herb Festival celebrates Satureja, a Savory, as the 2015 International Herb Association's Herb of the Year. Enjoy a tasty luncheon prepared with this featured herb and several others. Some and learn about the many virtues of this popular culinary and medicinal plant, as well as growing tips. A lecture and tour through the garden will also be part of the day's activities. Reservations are required. $36.
This farm, a family endeavor, is home to one of the largest collections of herbs and perennials in the country. Features include a multitude of herbs and perennials, display gardens and a gift shop.

Bees & Organic Gardens
Presented by Ridge and Valley Conservancy
Learn about how the organic and sustainable farming methods benefit bees and other important pollinating insects and vice-versa. You'll learn about organic gardening and beekeeping while enjoying sweeping and breathtaking views of the Paulins Kill Valley and Kittatinny Mountain. Please do not wear strong perfume that day.

It's almost here... Warren County's premiere event that has something for everyone!
In addition to all the carnival attractions and food one would expect,
this fair boasts a massive balloon launch every evening; power events throughout the week, including two demolition derbies; equestrian events; the Kids' Corral; car, truck and motorcycle shows; even a live pro wrestling event.
Some more low-key features that you can access all week by strolling around at your leisure include the Traditional Arts & Quilt Show and Home & Garden exhibits; checking out all kinds of animals, large and small; and be sure to stop by the "Warren County & You" Government Exhibit Building, where you will find giveaways and a chance to win a balloon ride for two if you vote for your favorite exhibit by Wednesday evening.
Sunday is Veteran's Day (free admission with ID card) and Monday is Senior Citizens and Disability Awareness Day (free admission with Medicare card and a resource fail will be held that day on the Dance Floor).
Admission is $7 for adults and $4 for ages 5-12. Children 4 and Under Free Admission is for both the Farmers' Fair and the Balloon Festival

Summer Concerts in the Barn:
The Bohemian Quartet
This is the first of a planned Barn Concert Series presented by the Knowlton Township Historic Commission and sponsored, in part, by the Warren County Cultural & Heritage Commission. Performing will be The Bohemian Quartet, a classical string quartet whose members are part of the Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey under the direction of Maestro Robert Butts. Admission is free and the concert will commence at 6pm, rain or shine. Outdoor picnic seating available, weather permitting. You may bring your own refreshments.
