Dear Members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry,
Thank you for the lovely prayer shawl that you gave to comfort me after the passing of my mother, Marieta Ress. I very much appreciate this thoughtful gift and will keep you in my prayers too, each time I am enfolded in it.

Dear Aldersgate family,
The chemotherapy to remove the basal cell carcinoma cancer was successful, last month’s check indicated I was cancer free. The prayers of the Aldersgate people gave me comfort during the stressful time period and the prayer shawl will continue to remind me of God’s love and his many blessings. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Dear Angels of Aldersgate,
Our greatest, heartfelt thanks for your unconditional love and support during this very sad time for our family. The calls, cards, prayers, visits, food, prayer shawl and outpouring of love were amazing. You are truly the best church “family” that anyone could ever have.

Aldersgate UMC, On behalf of the Newburgh Museum we would like to thank you for the loan of your church van during our “Newburgh Remembers” Civil War re-enactment weekend. It was much appreciated by those visitors trying to get from the parking are to the riverfront activities and the ladies who attended the “Afternoon Tea”. It is always nice to see our community come together for activities on the riverfront and be a part of it. Your van helped make the weekend more comfortable for many who would not have been able to attend without transportation assistance.
Tom Bodkin, President Newburgh Museum Board

Aldersgate Church,
We would like to convey BRIDGE's deep appreciation to Aldersgate for the wonderful facilities, hospitality beyond expectation and great help from the church staff for last night's "If You Knew Me, You'd Love Me" concert. The Director and Choir remarked on how beautiful the building was, and we certainly felt it was ideal for the concert, meal, intermission fellowship and panel discussion afterward. You were so helpful to us in preparing for the event, meeting our every request with not just willingness but graciousness. The concert itself was amazing. The music and stories shared by the speakers were each wonderful in their own right, but they combined to make one of the most inspiring evenings any of us have had in some time.
Thanks for your help in making it so. Joe Easley

We appreciate your church's support of Habitat for Humanity. I love churches that give to others- it sets a great example. We use these funds to change the lives of a family in need by giving them the skills to own a home (financial management and home repair) and then own their own, affordable home.
Love, Stephen from Habitat for Humanity
