Meeting Point - Collegetown Bagels ( Map)

The lower section of Cascadilla Gorge is truly a "gorges" display of rock, water and trees. Cascadilla Creek drops 400 feet from campus to downtown Ithaca, carving through bedrock - shales, siltstone and sandstone - exposing sedimentary rocks that were deposited 400 million years ago.

Cornell Cinema on the Terrace Movie,
Wednesday, June 17, 9:30pm, RSVP Here

Not familiar with our Terrace Screenings? Every summer Cornell Cinemas presents four outdoor screenings on the picturesque Willard Straight Hall Terrace, which, when coupled with the glow of the screen and twinkling of the stars, offers one of the best views in Ithaca. Screenings are preceded by a picnic hour when patrons are encouraged have some complimentary snacks before the film starts around 9:30, after it gets dark.

IMBD It Here!   The African Queen has been selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry in 1994, with the Library of Congress deeming it "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant". The film currently holds a 100% "Fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 37 reviews!
