Greetings!

There are a number of updates this month, including:

F-Response 4.0.3 Released

This newest release of F-Response includes support for 64bit Linux targets, updates to F-Response TACTICAL including streamlined double click loaders and a Linux Examiner GUI application, and a number of minor enhancements and updates.

F-Response and Windows 8 Consumer Preview

With the new Consumer Preview release of Windows 8 we decided it was high time to make certain F-Response worked well on the future of Windows.

F-Response Founder Matthew Shannon was interviewed on the forensic interviews site "F-Interviews.com", the complete interview along with interviews of numerous industry professionals is online and available for review.
F-Response 4.0.3 Released
F-Response Release IconF-Response is very pleased to announce the release of our latest version, 4.0.3.

This newest release of F-Response includes enhancements and updates as well as support for 64bit Linux targets and a new graphical Linux Examiner client for F-Response TACTICAL.

As with all prior versions of F-Response clients with active license dongles are welcome to download and update to this newest release at their convenience.

F-Response and Windows 8 Consumer Preview

Microsoft's recent announcement of the Windows 8 Consumer Preview prompted a considerable amount of interest on the Internet. For those who may have missed the announcement, Microsoft is providing an open download to get access to a "Consumer Preview" version of Windows 8.

It's a great way to get access to the Operating System early and look at whether your favorite forensics tools will work in Windows 8.

We downloaded and configured a Windows 8 Consumer Preview edition virtual machine and tested F-Response with it.
