h just over three weeks before Departure Days - 23 days to be exact - we present our Top 10 list of Things To Do as we gear up for our big adventure:
Go to your local dollar store and buy extra-large zip lock bags for packing your clothes.
9. Put up your tent - make sure you have all the pieces....and best to waterproof it just in case.
If you're a Rider - make an appointment for a bike tune-up at Cycle Solutions on Parliament Street (a Bike Rally supporter) or your local bike shop.
If you're Crew - get your costumes and noise makers and start downloading your music play list.
Read the Bike Rally Packing List (for the 1-Day Ride and for the 6-Day Ride) for some ideas of what to bring with you on your Bike Rally adventure.
Start a "Bike Rally Packing Pile" in a corner of your home. Keep everything together in that corner as you collect it. You'll save time and head aches and you won't have to look for things the day before Packing Day.
If you're a Rider - make sure you can ride at least 100km, and do it two days in a row if you're doing the 6-Day Ride.
