We are honored that Sarah Schuyler, our new Lower School art teacher, had two paintings selected for the exhibit.

"We are delighted to showcase the work of these talented teachers at the beginning of the school year," said Heather Heath, Executive Director. The show will include work in a range of media and many of the pieces will be for sale. The exhibit will remain on display through September 28. Gallery hours are Tuesday - Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and during performances and events. Admission to all art exhibits at The Ritz Gallery is free. Mrs. Walbridge Named GISA Master Teacher

The Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) has named Nikki Walbridge a GISA Master Teacher.

The Master Teacher Program bestows well-deserved recognition to GISA Master Teachers who exhibit best practices in the classroom and a willingness to share and collaborate with other educators. GISA commends its Master Teachers who inspire excellence in the classroom, among colleagues and, especially,  among students.

GISA only recognizes about two dozen teachers statewide with this distinction each year.

Congratulations, Mrs. Walbridge! This is certainly a well-deserved honor and a testament to your innovative spirit, collaborative mindset, and tremendous work ethic.

Congratulations, Adam Elsharkawi!

This summer, Frederica Academy was notified that  Adam Elsharkawi won Second Place in the Georgia Eighth Grade DAR American History Essay Contest.

Adam advanced to the state competition after winning local and regional contests.

Congratulations, Adam!

What Did YOU Do This Summer?

Rising seventh grader Max Crusan (Class of 2024) and his dad, Keith, spent part of their summer on a mission trip to Chimbote, Peru.

We want to hear how other FA students and families spent their summer break. Please click HERE to email photos, captions, and stories about your summer adventures.

Here are a few more photos taken during the trip Max and his dad took to Peru:

During their trip, Max and Mr. Crusan helped build three houses; donated furniture, clothes and other supplies to the new homeowners; and watched Padre Elmer bless the new homes. They took families to the beach and fed them lunch. Max was able to provide toys for all of the children they met using money he had raised before the trip. He also provided scholarship funds for girls to join a volleyball club they helped establish during their trip. A highlight of the trip was a futbol game against Peruvian soccer players.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Three members of Frederica Academy's Class of 2021 also traveled to Peru this summer: Maddison Moore, Lauren Jobe, and  Madysson Patron. Before they departed, they stopped by school to collect a vintage Frederica Academy flag to chronicle their Peruvian experience as Frederica ambassadors.
