FAA Western Hemisphere Flight Standards Meeting 


The FAA will be hosting a Western Hemisphere Flight Standards Meeting on March 12-13, 2014 in Arlington, VA. This meeting will focus on a broad range of issues across the flight standards community, including such topics as; pilot training, worldwide inspector training, maintenance repair organization oversight, oversight tools, and programs such as International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) and the ICAO Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme (USOAP) Continuous Monitoring Approach (CMA) and the State Safety Programme (SSP).


All in the aviation community from both regulatory authorities and the industry are invited to attend, with the content focused on issues across South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.

The meeting registration fee will be $125 until February 28th, at which point the price will increase to $200. Registration will formally close on March 5.
