All students in the department are encouraged to complete BOTH the
OSU Special Scholarships and
CFAES Student Scholarships applications.
Apply for hundreds of Ohio State special-eligibility scholarships with a wide variety of eligibility criteria (including College of Engineering specific scholarships) via the OSU Special Scholarships app. By completing the CFAES Student Scholarships app, you will be eligible for various awards offered by CFAES and the FABE department.

Apply for the SMPS Columbus Scholarship

The SMPS Columbus Scholarship Fund supports current high school and higher education students and SMPS Columbus members who are pursuing and/or advancing their careers in the Architecture,
Engineering, Construction
and/or Marketing fields.
We currently have five, $1,500 scholarships available for current higher education students attending central Ohio colleges, universities and trade schools. Applications are due December 1, 2017.

Fellowships for Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or other East Asian language study

The East Asian Studies Center offers a unique fellowship opportunity for undergraduate students in STEM departments who are interested in studying Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or other East Asian language. The Ohio State University is the recipient of a U.S. Department of Education Title VI grant for East Asian studies, allowing us to offer several of these fellowships for either intensive summer language study or academic year STEM and language study. CSM/ASM Women's Networking Group First Meeting

Come and join us at the first meeting of the CSM/ASM Women's Networking Group. This is a new group that will be meeting twice a semester to come together to talk about topics going on in the industries, which will be followed by an open group discussion. The goal of these discussions is to start a dialogue about our current industries and our own majors, while also thinking about what we can do. During our first meeting, we will also be discussing any additional thoughts you all might have about what you all would like to see moving forward. This event is completely free and the tickets are only used to help us get an idea of who all would be attending.

Udall Information Session

This information session is for students interested in the
Udall Scholarship
. The Udall is available to
sophomores and juniors
and provides $7,000 toward undergraduate expenses. Awards for the Udall are made in two categories: any sophomore or junior whose work (research, advocacy, etc.) has a positive impact on the environment; and Native Americans/Alaskan Natives whose work will positively impact Indian Country in the fields of policy or healthcare. Students cannot apply directly for this award. Students must be nominated by the Undergraduate Fellowship Office in order to apply.
