March 21st – Industry Speaker
For our speaker, we have Andrew Hunkins, Senior Project Manager, from Corna Kokosing. Andrew will be coming out to discuss what Pull Planning is while also having a hands on exercise that will allow for students to gain knowledge on what all goes in to a successful schedule.

Unlike traditional scheduling, pull planning allows for the dates and time duration to be open to more than just a few. Subcontractors are invited to come out from all trades to all for them to create their own schedule. This allows for subcontractors to see what other trades will be going on and allows for them to see conflicts before they arise.

April 18th – Site Tour
The site tour will be at the College of Dentistry Building at Postle Hall, which is currently undergoing a $95 Million renovation and addition to the existing building. We will do networking at 5:30 PM and the presentation will start at 6:00 PM and go until 7:00 PM.
Reminder: Building Parking Procedure
Good afternoon,

There has been an increasingly high amount of traffic parking behind and around the building and courtyard area. I would like to remind everyone that these areas are not for parking. As the spring season nears we will be prepping and moving equipment more frequently and at extended hours.  Please consider this your warning  any  vehicles not parked in designated Campus Parc areas will be ticketed and/or towed at owners expense effective 3/2/18.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
