PRIDE WEEK: FACETS Queer Youth Talent Showcase

Boulder County's OASOS Youth Support Group is teaming up with WhiteWave Foods to present this year's FACETS, a talent showcase for LGBTQ and Ally youth ages 12-25! This event will be our kickoff for Pride Week and we hope you can join us to support this year's diverse range of acts. For the second year, FACETS will be at Shine Restaurant and Gathering Place.

Do you have a hidden talent to share? If you or someone you know wants to perform, click here to submit your act

As a former OASOS volunteer myself, this event means a lot to me. Nothing makes me happier than seeing queer youth have the space to flourish and grow. I sincerely hope you'll be able to join us for this magical night.

With Great Anticipation,

Sara Connell [she, her, hers]

Education and Services Manager

Nudes with 'Tudes: A Nude Drawing Group

You are invited to Nudes with 'Tudes, (Figure Drawing for Every Body). This group meets every 4th Monday and starts at 7:15 PM. This is not a class, however you don't need to have any artistic training or experience to join.  All skill levels are welcome. Warm up exercises will be offered for those who would like structure to get started.

This monthly event is meant to both give aspiring models a chance to learn in a friendly, amateur group, as well as to provide a place for aspiring artists to learn more about their craft. No previous experience is required.

RSVP Required for drawing, email Tyler at [email protected] to save your space or inquire about modeling

Volunteer at Pridefest!

Pridefest wouldn't happen without the generous support of our volunteers. You can
click here to access the Google Drive document with of all the volunteer needs for the entire week of Pride events. If you are interested in volunteering please provide your name and e-mail next to the time and position you would prefer.

There are numerous tabs across the bottom of the spreadsheet. Each day has it's own tab. Please be sure to take a peek at all of the tabs.

This year will be bigger than any of the previous years, which means we have a much higher need for volunteers. In addition to the satisfaction of knowing you've helped make Pride happen, all volunteers will also receive a "Volunteer" Pridefest T-shirt in a color that no one else will have!

All volunteers who sign up will be contacted via email roughly a week prior to Pridefest. If you have any questions, please call us at 303.499.5777!

Thanks,

Nate George
