A Message from Steve Sanders, Metro Cleveland FCA Director

Glenville HS Football Team

You are having an impact!

Your support made it possible to host
a FCA ONE Camp in the city of Cleveland!

I can honestly say without question, this was the best camp I've ever been apart of. The power of the Holy Spirit was present from start to finish. There were numerous life changing stories I could share with you all but words can't explain it! You have to see it for yourself!

What a way to finish out our camp season!
Check out some of the AMAZING highlights from the camp

Here are the highlights:

Your giving ignites a fire...7 give their life to Christ on Glenville Football Team!
Your support for FCA translates into lives being saved!

The Glenville Football Team had 78 student athletes in attendance at the FCA ONE Camp on July 24-16, 2017. There was a fire ignited within those that were in attendance. Your support for FCA translates into lives being saved! You were responsible for reaching 7 of those athletes for Christ, 20 of them rededicated their lives to Christ and 30 indicated that they had grown in their faith because of the camp. Thank you for helping to save lives!

You made it possible for every camper to receive a FCA ONE Athletes Bible when they arrived at camp on Monday, July 24th. This Bible is to be taken with them everywhere they go throughout the 3 days of camp!

Our Partners at Chik-fil-A and River Financial Group provided lunch for the campers during the three day camp!

Team Building

More Team Building!

Impactful messages were delivered each day by Steve Sanders and Tim Brown. Steve and Tim are both native Clevelanders, who grew up in some of the same neighborhoods as the young men who were in attendance. They were able to really relate and connect with the athletes on a deeper and more personal level.

The day before camp began Coach Ginn was informed that he lost another young man due to gun violence on the streets. This marked the 10th young man that Coach knows of that has lost his life since the beginning of 2017. This made the culminating message of the camp even that more powerful, when Steve Sanders delivered a message that ended with a casket being brought in with a mirror in it. Every camper was asked to walk up and look in the casket. When he asked what they saw, each young man answered "ME". The room was silent and the harsh reality sunk in to each one that looked into the casket.

These may be the faces in front of the young athletes but none of this would be possible if it were not for those that God has called to send these men into the fields to do the work. You are the ones that God has called to make this all possible. Together we can make a difference for Christ and His Kingdom and see lives changed!

Thank you!!!
