There's Still Time On The Clock!

If you're a sports fan like I am, you too witnessed one of the greatest Super Bowl games of all time last month. The game started out ugly for the Patriots and looked like it would be a blow out at halftime. I witnessed Falcons fans celebrate as if the game had already been won. I saw them taunting Patriots fans and I thought to myself, "There's still time left on the clock". We should view life in the same way. When life has you down and it feels like the enemy has his foot on your throat, never give up because "There's Still Time Left On The Clock!" And as long as there's time left on the clock, the game is not over! If you're not dead, God is not DONE!

Huddle Leader Highlight
Jason DiFranco
Midview High School

I first became associated with FCA when I attended Ashland University.  It was there, through the leadership and guidance of Joe Maggelet, that I became more challenged in my faith and my walk with Christ.  I was very involved with FCA throughout my years at Ashland.  Then after I was hired at Midview High School, a student approached me about starting an FCA.  From that moment on, we have had an active FCA huddle here for the last 15+ years.  Personally, FCA has impacted my growth in my faith by pushing me to grow spiritually.  I have loved seeing kids becoming involved with FCA, and to see that there are many other students who share their faith.  One of the most rewarding parts of FCA is to consistently see unchurched students show up to our events and huddles.  It has definitely been a blessing to me!

Metro Cleveland FCA wants to shout out a huge "Thank you" to Jason for his years of committed service to the students at Midview High School. His dedication is an inspiration to us all.

On March 2, 2017 Gabriella Kreuz, founder of "Love Doesn't Shove" spoke to the St. Ed's High School Huddle.  "Love Doesn't Shove" is a non-profit organization aimed at bringing awareness to dating teen violence by speaking to groups and starting informal conversations about the issue. Her platform is based on her own personal experiences. The young men in the huddle were very attentive and were engaged in the presentation.
