Happy New Year!

Wade

It's still a relationship business

Again I was reminded today that we are still an industry build on relationships. The people we get to meet and work with in all phases of our foodservice industry are what keep us hanging around. The relationships we have built over the years allow us to pick up a phone and get assistance or knowledge from many trusted advisors and friends in our industry. It is one thing that I strive to instill in the young consultants in our firm and those outside of our company. Reminds me of an old saying "People don't care what you know until they know you care".

Next week we have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with thousands of "close personal friends" at The NAFEM Show in Orlando. It is much more than a gallery of foodservice equipment and supplies. The show provides the perfect opportunity to build new relationships with new engineers and sales people you meet. Daily we interface with members of the dealer community or service agents that we may never get to personally meet. Now you may have the chance to put a face with the voice and shake a hand. Or maybe you are looking to renew with those you haven't seen in a while.

As an added bonus, the FCSI seminar and cocktail reception on Wednesday afternoon offers a chance to reconnect with old consulting friends and meet new members. I also challenge each of you to take advantage of the week to reach out to someone new and create that new relationship

Borrowing NAFEM's line......."Meet, mix and mingle with the best of the best in the foodservice industry".

I look forward to seeing you at NAFEM.

Sincerely,

James Camacho

FCSI Membership Dues
The 2013 Membership Dues invoices have recently been distributed to all FCSI members. Paying your membership dues will renew your membership from January 2013 - December 2013.

While the economy is starting to recover, FCSI understands that some members are still facing financial hardships. In an attempt to alleviate some of these financial pressures, the Board of Trustees has voted NOT to increase membership dues for 2013.

We appreciate your continued support of FCSI and look forward to receiving your membership renewal!
