Stewardship is not just a
season
—it’s a year-round ministry. Stewardship is not just about money—it’s about our
call
, our gifts, our talents, our energies, and our time. Stewardship is not just a
campaign
—it’s a way of life folks!
It's about service to other people, not because we are better or better off, but because we are responding to the presence of
God’s love in every area of our lives. It’s about the font and living life in response to God’s claim on our lives through the waters of baptism.
It's about asking ourselves, as children of God, "What do we have to offer?" rather than "What do we stand to get?"
That's why we make sacrifices and commitments to travel down the street, across the city, across state lines, or to another part of the world (as Stacy, Paige, Wayne, and others traveled to Honduras in our "Serve Fearlessly" video). That's why we are willing to set aside our own comfort and privilege.
That's why we are able to fearlessly serve our God.
Because we know that God created us and redeemed us—God claims us and loves us in the risen Jesus Christ. And, so we must give our whole lives to God, in every area, with everything we are and everything we have, as “good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
