Home of the Falcons!
"We Engage, Challenge, and Support Every Student, Every Day"
Principal's Message                                                           Sept. 21, 2018

Homecoming week is upon us. The theme for the week is centered on "decades" and culminates with the football game on Friday night at Falcon Stadium against American Leadership Academy. We are excited about the school spirit that Homecoming brings and we are excited to see the community out supporting the students. The parade will be on Wednesday, September 26th from 6:00-7:00 pm, at the Avenue of the Fountains. This street will be closed that day and parade staging will occur on the Avenue of the Fountains near town hall. We will parade through half of the Avenue and turn near Saguaro Blvd. and head back toward Verde River Dr. (See map attached). It is open seating and guests should bring their own chairs and blankets to sit on. Our MC will set up under the canopy near Sofrita's, and that area will serve as a spotlight area for each group being recognized. There is a bonfire for students at FHHS that follows the parade as well. We look forward to seeing everyone out at the parade and the football game next week. The homecoming dance will be held on Saturday from 8:00-11:00 pm in the small gym. Tickets are on sale now for $20 apiece and will be sold for $25 at the door.

Cross Country Meet
The Falcon Cross-Country team hosted one of the largest meets in the state last week at the Fountain Park. The Falcons competed at a high level and showed their Falcon pride!

Military Appreciation Night

We will be hosting a veteran's appreciation night at the football game on October 19th. Please come out and thank our veterans of our community. If you know any veterans that would like to participate, or any former students who are in the military, please have them reach out to Debbie Petrick at [email protected].

Off-Campus Lunch Passes

With final first quarter grades being distributed soon, it is imperative that all students who have off-campus lunch passes make sure they are passing all classes. The lunch program is a privilege and we want to make sure that students who are struggling get the help they need from teachers at lunch. Students who are not meeting academic progress will have their lunch passes revoked while they are working with teachers to remedy their situation.
