July is our Back to the Basics month, meaning most regular monthly meeting will not take place. Our gatherings will center around worship, prayer, Bible Study and/or training. This relaxed schedule gives you and your family and opportunity to re-engage in the following:
Sunday Morning Prayer at 7:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Sunday Morning Worship at 7:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Wednesday Prayer at 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday Bible Study at 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Who's ready for our next Bible Study mission? We're moving from "Mission Accomplished to Mission Accountable" this July as we study the book of Mark. This series is all about Jesus' life and all He had to accomplish. You have two opportunities to join the lesson and discussion. Pre-Noon Day Prayer is at 11:30 a.m. followed by Bible Study at noon. Or join us for Prayer, Worship and the Word on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Both are held in The Hope Center Chapel. You can get your lesson each week online and in the FIBC App, available for download from the Google Play and Apple stores.
Header - Midnight Praise

All middle and high school students are invited to join us for the next Midnight Praise & Play Fellowship this Friday from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. in The Hope Center Gym. Praise & Play is everything from food, fun and fellowship to a basketball and gaming tournament and more and it's FREE and you don't have to be a member to attend, so your teen can bring their friends. Header - Generations Sunday

Our children, youth and young adults are getting ready for this coming Generations Sunday. We want you to bring your entire family to worship with you as we celebrate all the generations represented here at FIBC. The final preparation rehearsal will take place this Thursday beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Header - Mid Year Check-Up

Our Mid-Year Congregational Check-Up will take place this August and we want you in the house. This year we are going to focus on dealing with leadership and our 2017 Strategic Plan for Ministry. We're excited to welcome Pastor Kenneth C. Curry, Jr. and First Lady Karima Curry of Friendship Baptist Church in Yorba Linda, California as our Guest Facilitators. We're looking forward to a great time.

Our Mid-Year Congregational Check-Up will take place on Saturday, August 12th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and we need to know you're coming. Please register no later than Wednesday, August 9th. The check-up is required for all leaders but members are welcome to attend. If you have any questions, please contact your Director of Ministry or call the church office.

The Women's Ministry of FIBC invites you to celebrate Women's Weekend 2017 this August. We want to see every woman serving in ministry and at the Ladies Tea.

Choir rehearsals will be held on Tuesday, August 15th and Thursday, August 16th. The Praise Team begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by choir rehearsal at 7:30 p.m. The Praise Dance ministry will also rehearse.

On Saturday, August 19th ladies of all ages are welcome to join us for the Ladies Tea from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in The Hope Center Gym. You're welcome to bring your favorite tea cup and put on your favorite cocktail attire (red, white and black) and join us for high tea. This fellowship is open to ladies of all ages and it's free. All we ask is that you kindly R.S.V.P. no later than Sunday, August 6th.

We would love to see every woman serving in ministry on Women's Sunday. In addition to the choir you can also praise dance, usher, greet, work security, serve as worship service participant or as a hostess for the tea or Sunday continental breakfast. Click on the "get connected" button to sign-up.

On Women's Sunday we're excited to welcome Pastor Sheriolyn Curry Lasley, of Greater Bethel A.M.E. Church here in Phoenix as our Guest Preacher. Pasor Lasley has a passion for serving all and transforming lives through the power of the Word. She'll join us in worship at 7:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
