FIREFIGHTING BULLDOZER OPERATOR KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY-CALIF WILDLAND FIRE
We regret to pass on to you that the operator of a firefighting bulldozer was killed in the Line of Duty when it rolled over during the fight against a wildfire near Big Sur (California) that has destroyed 20 homes and spread across more than 36 square miles.
Another fire equipment operator escaped injury when a second bulldozer rolled over and sustained minor damage, according to CalFire.
The name and age of the fire apparatus operator who was killed was not immediately available.
