Dorothy Draper quotes
Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt, Jr.: "Every woman in her secret heart believes herself to be a potential interior decorator,
but usually when she gets started, she loses her nerve... She becomes confused by the great variety of material
that confronts her when she shops. She loses confidence, becomes timid, and falls back
on the drab and mediocre
because she is afraid of
doing wrong."

Trust your instinct and
acquire what you love.....

A special visitor at the
shop....Miles Redd

He puts Summit on the map....super talented Frank Delledonne

Whenever my shipments come in everyone always wants to see it ALL but I never had the convenient venue ...UNTIL NOW!!

I'm really excited to invite you to my first ever WAREHOUSE EVENT
this Thursday and Friday May 8 and May 9
from
9:30-5 pm in Summit, NJ.

The trucks have been rolling in all week and we have everything unpacked ....whew!  While jogging back and forth from the store to the warehouse I wished I had my bike I use at Brimfield. I saw myself coming as I was going!

Several dining tables...industrial ...French farm...bleached Belgian and
an oak one that may end up cerused!

There is a fantastic lacquered desk and a French walnut desk, too.

Swedish, French, Art Deco and modern....

The ferns, above, are in smooth bean pots!

Louis Philippe mirrors, Italian mirrors...carved and simple...
(some are a steal). The desk, above, is made by a French woman.
While it has a modern form, the raised limed grain keeps it from looking sterile.

There are also gorgeous handmade pillows....some in mohair!

The white iron pieces are hay rakes from Texas that have been welded...a great sculptural piece of American art to hang inside or out.

Each item has been hand picked by me as I continue my mission of offering you unique, one of a kind treasures to personalize your homes and steer away from that cookie cutter sterile look. Beautiful ORIGINAL art I think you will love, too!

The pieces in need have not been recovered yet but it's the best time so we can decide together what fabric looks best.

It's a good time to visit Summit!!!

WAREHOUSE EVENT 9:30-5 PM

MAY 8th and 9th.

If you can't make it on the 8th or 9th I have been taking people over to see the collection so just email or call and I'll scoot over.

While at that end of town I would grab a healthy bite and cup of coffee at Vita Organics (320 Springfield Ave. Summit) and then stroll through Cowgirl in the Sand to get your hip Texas vibe on,  (310 Springfield Avenue, Summit)  Elise's offerings include awesome cowboy boots and affordable cool jewelry and not to mention she is a real sweetie! Email me for lunch and dinner options or other shopping ideas.....Summit is FULL of unique shops and eateries.

The warehouse is the former

 Michaelian and Kohlberg space

315 B Springfield Avenue Summit, NJ
