SAVE THE DATE

this summer's Vacation Bible school will be held July 17th-21st at First Church in Oberlin UCC. We'll be channeling our inner superhero at Hero Central. VBS is for children entering K-5th grade. Adult and youth helpers will be needed as well. Registration will be coming soon!

COLLECTING "CAPES"

As you know, we can't be super-heroes without capes! We're collecting adult t-shirts to be turned into capes for VBS. They must be either blank on the front OR the back and we're collecting only t-shirts that are: red, orange, green, blue, and purple. If you have any t-shirts to donate please give them to Brandy.

ADULT EDUCATION

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Our White Privilege study continues this week with the topic  How Housing Practices Advantages Whites. Everyone is welcome starting at  6:45pm in Fellowship Hall. Please read this section prior to class. All our welcome.

SUNDAY MORNING: On  Sunday, March 26, following the service of worship, the adult education program will feature a presentation by Rollin Conway and Kris Carter on "Not All Charter Schools Are the Same: Stepstone Academy."  This is an important and very current topic, and everyone can be assured of a warm welcome at the program, which will take place in the JFO Room.

MISSING GRIDDLE

Following the Shrove  Tuesday  Pancake Dinner there were six griddles in the kitchen. When they were collected there were only five. The missing griddle says "Gargasz" on it. If you've seen it or have it in your possession please let Brandy or Deidre Gargasz know.

Drawing on our heritage, we will grow by being an intentionally inclusive, multicultural, just and loving community that practices relevant and inspiring worship, mobilized to collaborate with our wider community by opening our doors to be a central gathering place that is dedicated to healing brokenness in our relationship with God, each other and the Earth.
