New news for today......Tuesday, Sept. 20th

Attention Students: There are no vehicles allowed to park in the Schilling Plaza, Bridle Pass neighborhood (accross the street from the high school), or at our District Office. Student vehicles parked there will be towed at the driver's expense. Law enforcement will also be patrolling these areas. Thank you for your cooperation.

Forest Lake Area Children's Clothing Fund & Mason's Breakfast Fundraiser is taking place this Sunday, September 25.  The event will run from  8:00 am - 12:30 pm at the Forest Lake Masonic Lodge - 119 8th Ave SE in Forest Lake.  T he FLA Children's Clothing Fund serves many children in the Forest Lake Area by providing winter coats, hats, boots, etc... for the upcoming winter months.  ALL donations given to the Children's Fund at this Sunday's Mason's breakfast event will be MATCHED by the Masons thus allowing your contribution to have TWICE the impact!  Come and enjoy a great breakfast and help keep a child warmer this winter!

It's the law that all men register with Selective Service within 30 days of the their 18th birthday.  Register online at  www.sss.gov

Do you have your powderpuff team together yet for Homecoming week? Send your team team roster to Miss Brett via email ( abrett@flaschools.org) and get your t-shirts approved by Mr. Forsythe.

Reminder to all juniors:   Registration closes this Friday at 11 AM for the PSAT Test.   The PSAT test will be held Wednesday October 19th starting at 7:40 in the media center.  This is the only day you can take the test.  The google sign up was sent home to all juniors.  The cost is $15 and you will use  Feepay on  SchoolView.   If you have any questions ask Mr. Stoyke.

Are you interested in green projects around the school or community?Join the Environmental Club! Meetings are held Tuesdays from 
2:30-3:00 in room 121.

Youth Mechanics are needed! Lakes Area Youth Service Bureau's Tried and True Small Engine program is looking for teens 15 and older who want hands on experience working on small engines with a professional mechanic. Shop time is Tuesdays & Thursdays from  3:30-6:30  for 3 months. Stop by the office to pick up an application.

Rally around the Rangers

Volleyball:  Tonight   we host Roseville and it is Super Hero Night!  Come dressed as your favorite Super Hero and qualify for prizes- no masks please.  Go Rangers!

Boys Soccer:   Let's cheer the boys on to continued success today  when they face Roseville. JV starts at  4:15 PM  at the Middle School while Varsity starts at  5 PM  at Roseville Area High School. Come join us & bring on the cheer!     
Attention Students- Support your fellow Rangers at our FLHS athletic events.  RANGER NATION PASSES are for sale for $30.  This will get you in to all of the home events for the 2016-17 school year.  This $30 also includes a free Ranger Nation T-Shirt (while supplies last).

The Music Boosters will be having their first meeting of the year next Thursday, 9/22, at 7:30 pm in the Choir Room 545.  We will be introducing new board members, announcing the location of the 2018 Music Trip, and discussing fundraising opportunities.  All music students and their parents are welcome to attend.  Please join us!
