Program Description :  A group of 20 teenagers from across the U.S. will be selected to journey into the heart of Grand Canyon, learning about the importance of natural sounds, participating in meaningful science, learning about career opportunities with the National Park Service, and honing their leadership strengths. At the end of this transformative expedition, students emerge as leaders ready to face personal and global barriers with passion and perseverance and inspired and equipped to be the next generation of ambassadors for the National Park Service.

Program Description :  At Pre-Law Academy, you will: -talk to federal and state judges, i nvestigate a crime scene, p articipate in a mock trial competition, b e taught by law school and university professors, l earn about law school admission, m eet law school admissions officers, l earn to brief law cases, d iscuss undergraduate preparations for law school, s tudy the judicial system, and e njoy recreational activities.

Program Description : Are you interested in engineering but want to explore the diverse careers available as an engineer? During the Engineering and Aviation Academies at St. Louis University you will explore flight science and career paths in aviation or explore the various fields in engineering.  While living on campus you'll also explore campus life and meet students from around the country.

Program Description :  Connect your interest in marine biology research, marine engineering technology, veterinary medicine, or pre-medicine to real-life by engaging in hands-on projects and activities with real marine life and research equipment. You will gain a better awareness and understanding of specific career fields within marine biology. Experience residential life on a college campus as you work alongside Texas A & M faculty and students.

Program Description : Camp participants will learn about veterinary medicine first-hand in classrooms, laboratories, and outdoor facilities that include Auburn University's raptor, equine, dairy, beef, and swine units.  Students will learn about public health, food animals, wildlife, anatomy, imaging, and first aid, as well as gain valuable mentoring about veterinary science careers.

Students will experience campus-life while residing in Auburn's resident dormitories, eating at campus dining facilities, and enjoying evening social and recreational activities.  Camp participants will have 24/7 counselor supervision.

Program Description :  The BAFTX Junior Achievers award program is aimed to provide an international exchange summer experience for academically adept students from low-income families in the Houston and surrounding areas. The recipient of this program award is invited to attend a two to four-week British Studies Summer Program held at the American Community School in London, England. Students gain a wide range of valuable experiences, including the ability to adapt to a new culture, a deeper appreciation for English history and culture, as well as college-success values and skills.

Program Description : The Academy for Rising Leaders is a 5-day intensive summer program that brings together rising high school seniors in Texas for an unforgettable leadership development experience.  SUBIENDO was created at The University of Texas at Austin to prepare new leaders to address the needs of the next generation, including a growing Hispanic population that has become the largest and youngest minority group in the United States. Participants have an opportunity to problem solve real-world issues with today's top business and political names, focusing particularly on the growing Hispanic population in Texas and the country.  Students work on projects in non-traditional classrooms and career settings.
