Greetings Friends, Constituents & Supporters,

It is the era of multiculturalism, diversity, and political correctness. Our society has been fooled into believing that differences must be accepted with an unobjective cordiality, without question and of course, at face value. A threat to our personal belief and heritage is of no matter, so long as those looking for a way in are obliged and welcomed without opposition. Regardless of extreme practices, we are discouraged from making inquiries on the grounds of political correctness, shrouded under the cloak of diversity. For too long have I watched our godly heritage be pushed farther and farther into the shadows, only to be replaced by views so contrary to the foundation and principles that America was founded on, that I have to wonder, is this not a ploy to encourage America to move more towards the new European perception of culture and multiculturalism?

Have you noticed? We found ourselves, as Americans, thinking more and more that 'this can't happen in America'. There is no denying the shift, propagated by the left, to encourage a more European approach to multiculturalism. What do I mean?

At the end of March, the British Parliament adopted new laws that would allow religious Islamic law a place in their legal system. Lawyers will be able to write Islamic wills that deny women an equal share of inheritances and exclude unbelievers altogether. The documents, which would be recognized by Britain's courts, will also prevent children born out of wedlock - and even those who have been adopted - from being counted as legitimate heirs. Anyone married in a church, or in a civil ceremony, could be excluded from succession under Sharia principles, which recognize only Muslim weddings for inheritance purposes.

In a grand gesture of multicultural acceptance by the British government, this progressive notion attempts to substantively approve of the Muslim religious precepts, including many that institute discrimination against women and children. Nothing about limiting the voice and opportunity of women and children seems multiculturally progressive.

Many on the right have been warning us for years,  when a culture weakens its own principles in favor of an amorphous multicultural society, eventually, a stronger culture simply undermines and supplants the impoverished values it encounters.

Fortunately there are still those who see the threat and oppose it in Britain. British advocate, Caroline Cox, Lady Cox, a cross-bench member of the British House of Lords and founder and CEO of the Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust (HART) stated, "Everyone has freedom to make their own will and everyone has freedom to let those wills reflect their religious beliefs. But to have an organization such as The Law Society seeming to promote or encourage a policy which is inherently gender discriminatory in a way which will have very serious implications for women and possibly for children is a matter of deep concern."

There is no question the Judeo Christian heritage we covet and aim to protect is under attack. WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE must wake up and recognize the Spiritual Warfare raging in America.  We must strengthen those American principles and traditions that made us so prosperous and free, as it is only a matter of time before the same kind of cultural supplanting is manifested within our shores as well. We are already seeing the Department of Defense, the Department of Education, and the Justice Department make every effort to remove any reference to our godly heritage from our schools, court houses, military, money and even our nation's motto.

I plan on filing a bill during the 84th Session of the Texas Legislature that will require our Texas Judicial System to only allow American Law on American Soil in our Texas Courts.  I trust and pray that those of you that share this concern will join me in supporting and demanding this Legislation.
