We would like to nominate Dr. Nicholas Weida for the FMEC Emerging Leaders Award.
Nick joined us as a Core Faculty member in 2015 after completing his residency at Swedish First Hill. He immediately stood out as a leader within the faculty which is extraordinary given that he was one of just two junior faculty members in a 15 person core faculty group of mostly mid-level and senior faculty. Nick immediately dove in to help improve the residency evaluation system and was key in helping two residents in his first year who were experiencing academic difficulty. Read More
