A delicious union comes together in Willoughby just in time for fall

As we make the transition from summer to winter, a season called fall is wedged in between. Popular for the cooler temps, football, beautiful colors and the smell of the crisp autumn leaves, there are many fall favorites, but nothing quite like the smell and taste of comfort food.

The Players Club (TPC), (located inside Lost Nation Sports Park and owned by David Bartulovic, a Euclid native, and also owner of Sol in historic Downtown Willoughby) primarily know for its fun atmosphere and crowd-pleasing bar food, is partnering with Kulinar’s Carryout and Catering this fall.

“We are excited to partner with a business such as Kulinar’s that is well-known and respected locally. The partnership will allow us to expand our existing catering business and offer more food options on our everyday menu,” said David Bartulovic.

Kulinar’s Carryout and Catering owned by Ivica Sapina, specializes in Eastern European cuisine. Ivica has been the head chef and owner for 12 years, focusing on homemade meals and comfort food such as Hungarian Goulash, Wiener Schnitzel, Chicken Paprikash and Stuffed Cabbage. Both David and Ivica believe that this partnership will take TPC and Kulinar’s to the next level

“Both David and I have a similar upbringing with strong family values, work ethic, passion for business, food and customer service, so this partnership makes sense. My mother taught me everything I know about cooking – from skills and technique. I am proud that I have made a career out of her teachings, and excited to bring this to TPC,” said Ivica Sapina.

TPC plans to add a “Home Cooked” Meals section to their new everyday menu rolling out Monday, October 15 th Customers will be able to enjoy this comfort food while dining in or carrying out. The new TPC catering menu will also include Kulinar’s top menu items. A perfect addition for holiday parties and off-site catering.

Open since 2005, TPC is the perfect place to gather on a weeknight for food with the family, or the weekend to grab some drinks, catch up with friends and watch a game. Made to accommodate both large and small groups, choose from our front bar that can seat up to 50, the back bar that seats 175 (+50 including connected patio and outside bar) or our upper-deck banquet room for a more formal or private occasion that can seat up to 90. The room is equipped with a private bar, projection screen, HDMI and AV system.
