past events update
January 25, 2017  was our State Advocacy Day and five of our members joined the Houston and Dallas members at the capital to meet with our representatives.  It was a great morning.  Thanks to Laurence Egle, Joe Inskeep, Gay Thompson, and Gary Montgomery.

On Friday, February 24, 2017, we had a very successful Career Day with over 20 interviewees and over 10 interviewers.  It was the best we have had according to the interviewers.  Kudos to Daphne Jordan and Joe Inskeep for putting together a well organized event.

Reverse Mortgages and Retirement Plans (Date to be determined)
A 1 hour Course Approved for 1 CE Credit for Certified Financial Planners (CFPs)
This course for Financial Professionals will give you a basic understanding of a Reverse Mortgage including the features, available products, and eligibility requirements. We will also examine strategies where the reverse mortgage has been used as part of a comprehensive retirement plan.
