PAST EVENTS
The Austin Planner's Conference was a great success.  The venue at Top Golf was certainly different and we had lots of opportunities to network with the sponsors while having fun.  In addition, we had the opportunity to get plenty of CE credits along with the Ethics course.

Kudos to Bill Simonet and his committee for creating an excellent experience and thinking outside of the box.  A huge thank you to Sarah Frankenfeld for supporting Bill and the committee.   Please thank Sarah and Bill when you have an opportunity to see them.

As this year winds down, the board will have the Strategic Planning meeting to determine our focus for 2018.  If you have ideas you would like to share with us before this meeting (November 30, 2017), please let us know.

Of course we are also looking for volunteers to support the various committees.  If you have a least one hour each month that you can devote to FPA, let us know.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Serve Veterans through Home For Our Troops

CLICK HERE  more more info  and the role of a financial planner in the process,

We currently have 24 Veterans. Of the 3 in Texas, 2 are in San Antonio and 1 in Killeen that are in need of a Financial Planner to meet the requirements of having a financial plan in place prior to their Community Kickoff event.

Do you have the availability to work with one of these Veterans. If yes, please indicate: 1. The number of Veterans you are able to work with; 2. If you are willing to work with Veterans outside of your state; 3. If you will provide your services remotely and/or in-person encounters; and 4. If you would like to remain on our volunteer list. The financial planning sessions can be in-person, over the phone, or via video conference. Once we have identified a match, we will send you the information to begin working with the Veteran.

Contact Bill Parrott or Mark Herman if interested. Thank you!
