Lots of goodies for you this week!!!!

As one who has been a foster parent myself for over 14 years, now, I understand that foster parenting can be....shall we say...challenging at times?  Yes, I imagine that is a good word to use.  I surely do need to surround myself with good resources in order to sometimes just survive the day.

I bet you do, as well. That is why I created The Foster Parent Survival Guide, just for you.  This pamphlet is FREE, and I have attached it HERE for you.  Now, this is by no means the ultimate survival guide.  That can be found in other books I have written. This Foster Parent Survival Guide is just something for you to turn to when you need a quick answer, or a little inspiration to get through those difficult days. Again, please find it HERE, as a way of saying thank you to all YOU do for children in need.

I have also attached this month's Foster Care Newsletter Column for you HERE, as well.  This month, I examine the issues that can manifest from anxiety issues in children from foster care.  Please do feel free to use it as your own.

And more....!

My phone has been ringing off the hook the past few days for speaking events, training seminars, and key note addresses. To say that 2017 will be an exciting one is an understatement.  If you are hoping to have me at an event in 2017, or 2018, I would love it!  Please do contact me soon, as my calendar is getting full.

Remember when Good Morning America came to my home last month?  You can watch it HERE.  In two weeks, we have the pleasure of having The 700 Club TV show visit our home for an interview about foster parenting and adoption.  It is our hope to show foster parenting in a positive light.  I will keep you posted on this when it gets closer.

Here in my part of the world, Autumn has surely come. The cooler weather feels great, and the fire has already been lit in the chimney.  I hope this week is a fantastic one for you and your family!
