Join us in The Blue Room at the BFI on London's Southbank for our 

next free networking event. 

Max Howard and Ramsay McBean, Founder/Chairman and Managing Director of Melwood Pictures, a new UK-based company aimed at developing animated features, will provide an overview of the animated film world.  They will tell us about the special requirements when writing for the medium, and give us details about their current initiative for writers who want to work in animation.

 

The Melwood team's credits include Saving Santa, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, 

The Little Mermaid,Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Pocahontas, 

Space Jam, and Iron Giant. 

 

We will be announcing the winning entries for the
2014 Screen Story Competition. 

1st Prize is �1000 worth of Script Development
2nd Prize is a Full Report worth �210 on a feature script
and 3 runners up will receive bullet-point reports on feature scripts
