"Thank you for our care packages!!! We took some for our Paratroopers to enjoy and then sending the rest forward to our outstations! These were the best care packages! We loved the beef jerky, Girl Scout Cookies, Mac and Cheese, Ravioli, hygiene products and endless amounts of other goodies! It's always nice to get care packages because there's always those Paratroopers that don't have anyone sending them anything! It's like Christmas when we open them!"

Vets2Barber Barber Shop
FSO recipient, SSGT Steven Perez and veteran friend SSGT Ralph Naranjo (US Marines) opened up their own barbershop. This barbershop not only will be serving the community but will have special discounts for all of our veterans, active duty and first responders.

Special Dedication to the memory of one of our long term volunteers, Mary Lou Gainey
Forgotten Soldiers Outreach will truly miss the smiling face that she exhibited every time she walked through our doors to volunteer for many years. Her favorite task at Forgotten Soldiers Outreach was to prepare Q-tip packets that went into our "We Care" packages. She loved it, and "owned that position"! . Mary Lou will certainly be missed by not only myself, our recipients and the Forgotten Soldiers Outreach staff and volunteers but anyone's life that she touched.

SINCE JANUARY 2017, WE HAVE ALREADY BENEFITED OVER 4,000 OF OUR DEPLOYED MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS WITH OVER 1,700 "WE CARE" PACKAGES TO
OUR TROOPS SERVING OVERSEAS!
We recently had a Chaplain register their Air Base that services 9,000 of our deployed military and are in need of items for their make shift commissary. This is in addition to a new unit of 700 that was registered by a Chaplain in another location where his service members are not receiving items from home and are longing for the connection to home.
We also are currently sending to 4 military working dogs and
their handlers!
